I was at that playoff game against Anaheim. Fondest sports memory I have. Gaudreau going up the wing and sniping the tying goal…that whole sequence is seared into my mind. I was there with my dad, everyone was on their feet and there was only 30 seconds left on the clock. My heart is absolutely racing. Gaudreau gets the puck on his stick, and even though I'm on the defensive side of the ice I know it's him, you can just tell by the way he moves. I keep checking the clock, I'm barely breathing, I have my hands on my knees, bent at the waist. And then he shot the puck. I can't even describe the sound and the feeling of that moment. It was insane. Everyone high fiving, hugging, screaming at the tops of their lungs. There is no comparison. I can't wait to get back into the playoffs. Tonight we play the Kings with the chance to clinch our spot in the 2017 playoffs. Hopefully there are more of those unforgettable experiences waiting. GFG!
I'm not sure a Cup would be as jaw droppingly dramatic as this 14/15 season was. I'll never forget it. Thanks for immortalizing it AC… Also that Bennett no-goal is proof the league will make calls to intentionally manipulate outcomes 😉 hopefully we don't have any more of those in our future.

What a magical team. Honestly don’t know why they haven’t been able to recapture that form. Gaudreau looks so shackled in recent playoffs I forgot how freely and confidently he played in 14-15.
All these comebacks are great…but there is NOTHING more satisfying than beating Edmonton!
