Can They Keep It Going?
Nhl hockey today – With training camps and the 2024-25 season coming up shortly , there are still quite a few situations/teams who had big offseasons of change that I’d like to cover. Losing jonathan marchessault william carrier logan thompson among others while expecting alot from newcomers alexander holtz victor olofsson and ilya samsonov while fully handing the keys to this team to jack eichel mark stone and tomas hertl spells a different look for these vegas golden knights . When it comes to coverage during the 2024-25 NHL season, be it nhl highlights today , reactions recaps and breakdowns, nhl news today 2024 , rankings and player/team examinations plus some variety content, please consider subscribing. If you want more vgk content, let me know as well. Nhl today

The bill always comes due, and I think Vegas is getting close to pay day. We'll see how many fans stick around when they're getting 65 points a season.
I'm gonna Boldly predict that Vegas misses the playoffs this year. Which would not benefit them at all as they have no 1st round picks left to trade for anything meaningful to help there team on the fly. What you see is what you get from the Vegas roster and I think Edmonton will Run them down as the front runner in the division.
1:10 Brayden McNaab too
Not Brayden McNabb being left out of the OG Misfit list.
Okay the only original “Misfits” left are Karlsson,Theodore and McNabb Whitecloud came to the franchise the following year after inaugural season
Make a Canucks one
Definitely still a contender
Can you do a video about what the panthers have done this offseason cause I can't tell if its enough to keep a chance at winning another cup. Hopefully our team has stayed in shape and can perform but ya never know.
Yeah
They'll kepp it going for as long as the LTIR is circumventable.
I think the entire league outside of Vegas hopes vegas doesn't make the playoffs lol
Stone biggest dickhead in the league
No thanks!
Carolina needs that Carrier potato masher type player. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it's the missing "it" factor.
Mark stone is going to get "injured" 7-10 days before the trade deadline so there's cap space for that day
Logan Thompson is a real one for that
Let’s hope they don’t make the playoffs
So ready for the season to go
I'm sure the majority of the league will have no problems with mediocrity and missed playoffs for Vegas.
I think VGK team will make the playoffs or bust! It’s gonna be interesting for VGK team needs some answers this season.
Awe yes a team that can afford Eichle stone samsonov hanafin olofson holtz and hertl doesn’t sound weird at all
they wont be as good!
Video Idea: Can Rod’s system work for Carolina in Playoff Hockey.
I hope the Golden Knights become an old school expansion team, and it takes them a decade to get back in the playoffs.
Eichels easily a 90-95 point player and 40 goal scorer if he plays a full 82 games
No
Health is the number one question mark for this team. Does Stone regain his form? Does Hertl regain his form? Does Adin Hill stay healthy? If they remain relatively healthy they will most certainly make the playoffs. At best I see them making the conference finals but likely a round 2 loss.
They have a Cancer at their core and that Cancer is Jack Eichel…. Characters like that will rot a Team
vid on the kings next please. I don’t know what direction the team is going, leaning towards missing the playoffs
They have a Cup.
Looking forward to another good run by Oilers next playoffs, possibly doing what Florida did their last two playoff runs—losing the Cup, then winning it. And Canucks got some much needed positive playoff experience in the last run, have excellent coaching and some interesting dynamics in the team shuffle, so I would expect a good run from them too if they don't meet Edmonton in the first round. Increasingly less worried about Vegas. HOWEVER, the big wedge in the WC now is Nashville Nashville Nashville. A serious wedge unless you're a Preds fan that is. And I can totally see how anyone would get behind that team! Music City, and some great fireworks on that team. I like the added drama of some of those stars having a point to be made, an ax to grind, against old teams turned rivals.🎉
Vegas is not a playoff team
Vegas is not a playoff team
Honestly I feel like Nashville has a better chance at the cup than Vegas does
My prediction. A helluva WC finals match-up between Nashville and Edmonton. Whoever goes on from that wins the Cup against Rangers or Panthers. Leafs just don't seem to know how to transform a team. And sorry my Canucks, if you meet Nashville again in the next playoffs, you're gonna lose. Boston might make a good run but Marchand's issues are a big factor now. I only see 3 real contenders for the Cup: Rangers, Edmonton, Panthers, and possibly a 4th in Nashville. Of course Avs and Stars are always there, and Boston too, but those 3/4 seem most likely. Looking forward to a great season proving me wrong or right or half-assed wrong or right.
How different could the wording in a contract be, to have your top player leave for the same money?
They’re competitive for sure but less so than years prior. Saying they’ve only missed once in the few years they’ve been here is funny sounding.
Holy Crap! You talked about Vegas!!! It will be interesting to see how much Marchessault is missed in the locker room. I think he has a solid year for Nashville (25 ish goals) it´s his locker room presence where I think Vegas will miss him the most. He´s got a motor that runs a million miles an hour and he´s not afraid to mix it up when he needs to.
It'll probably depend on injuries.
i hope they completely fall apart this year as Cgy has their 25 frst rnd pick and its unprotected…prolly not but i can dream👍
I’m biased but with all the departures, the most money spent, and RFA drama, I’d love to see a video breaking down the Hurricanes new look team after all those contracts expired
Talk about the Kings
Do one for Tampa 🙏🏼⚡️
Vegas is always a contender
I think they will finish 2nd-3rd in the pacific probably 3rd but who knows
