  1. I hope they miss the playoffs so Rocco and the front office can be fired. I’m ready to move on from Rocco and the front office. They’ve had a long enough stretch and can’t have any sustained long-term success

  2. The story should be the predictable collapse, the issue around leadership in ownership and management.

  3. I know it’s irrelevant but the 1987 Twins backed into the playoffs and won the World Series. That being said I don’t think they will make the playoffs. They lost yesterday with arguably their two best pitchers and it’s downhill from there.

  4. You heard it stated from Twins management about the good minor league system, so a rebuild will be done by reducing payroll and signing cheap free agents. The real question becomes will Correa and Buxton force a trade, what the fan base does?

  5. Is there any team in baseball who could be tricked in to taking the oft-injured Buxton or Correa for prospects? Preferably left handed pitchers and a real catcher? Probably not…
I’d love to see E. Rodriguez, Wallner and eventually Jenkins in the outfield next year.
Other than just running it all back next year, do the Twins have a plan for next year?
Castro, Farmer, Kepler, Vazquez, Thielbar, Margot, Santana (sadly), Alcala, Kiriloff, Larnach are probably all gone.

  6. I'm just here for the Don West shout out. Fell asleep to that guy yelling through the TV all throughout the early/mid-90's.

  7. I would like to see the Twins rip the Band-Aid off and try to dump the injury prone "starts" to whoever would take them

  8. Interesting how many billboards one sees driving across Wisconsin that advertise a certain law firm that claims on these podcasts to be "Minnesota's award winning….". And they were there years before said law firm popped up in Minnesota.

  9. I agree with Dex….front office will give a shoulder shrug; playoffs or not. No one's getting fired, because the front office and ownership are fine where they're at.

  10. Molitor rallied his team after the Twins sold at the deadline, handed them an FU and ended the season strong. This is a Baldelli problem. He needs to be canned and offer the job to Molitor again.

  11. Trevor Bauer is available. It amazes me they would rather bring in Cole Irwin than a former Cy Young winner. You want to energize this team, bring in the ringer.

  12. Is Trevor Plouffe Tuesdays still happening? Usually they say he can’t be with them when he’s not here but they didn’t say anything this time

  13. Twins payroll is at $114,000,000 for only eight players in 2025. They can decline Margot and Kyle and shed $18.2 million. So, essentially, $95.8 million for six players. One being the $10 million man, Christian Vazquez. Yikes.

Twins obviously can't trade Vazquez unless they sweeten deal significantly. However, could they get something for Paddack at $7.25 million?
