Troy Grosenick played in the San Jose Sharks organization from the 2013-14 season to the 2017-18 season. Over the years Troy would put up a 38-27-4 with the Worcester Sharks and a 47-29-17 with the San Jose Barracuda. Overall, 85-56-21 in the AHL for the San Jose Sharks organization. In this time, Troy would get into 2 NHL games for San Jose going 1-1. What was the reason Troy never got more of a chance for San Jose do you think?

And he was excellent in the win he got. Never understood why he didn’t get a shot.
Didn’t he have a shutout in his debut at Carolina?
i remember looking up to him a lot as a kid. i was a goalie for the jr sharks and would see him around the rink occasionally and he was always super nice! my team had a practice on the same rink after the sharks practice one day and one of his broken sticks was on the bench and i was able to keep it! i remember watching his first game from the gym at the practice rink where he got a shutout in his first nhl game.
I was actually at that game in Carolina for his debut, when he got the shut out. A very surreal experience, I remember talking to other shark fans at the game and we all thought he was the next “one”
Obviously, that wasn’t the case, but still cool to have witnessed history in person. I don’t think I’ve seen a shut out in person since.
He threw my daughter a puck when he was playing for the Worcester Sharks. Will never forget him. Made her a hockey fan for life.
