Great job, guys! NJ also added Johnathan Kovocevic from Montreal for defensive depth. Nemec was injured at some international tournament and his status is unknown. Santeri Hatakka may get the opportunity to play immediately. Looking forward to seeing if they will be as good on the ice as they are on paper.
This coming season, the Devils will win the Metropolitan Division title with a record of 66-8-8 to capture the Presidents’ Trophy, sweep the wild card Bruins in 4 in the Eastern Conference 1st round, sweep their archrival Rangers in 4 in the Eastern Conference 2nd round, sweep the defending Stanley Cup champion Panthers in 4 to capture the Eastern Conference title, and sweep the Golden Knights in 4 to capture their 4th Stanley Cup and complete the greatest season in NHL history.
