Looking for a Matthew Tkachuk type courtesy to get value back? Was never going to happen with Marner and his camp, screw the team, screw the fans, why doesn't everybody love me?
Put Marner on the 3rd line
Sign him to an extension that is as close to market value as possible without a full no-trade clause. As long as the contract is not ridiculous, it gives the Leafs the drivers seat and takes control out of Dan Ferris' hands. Marner is still an elite winger and with a tradeable contract, can be swapped for equal value assets.
Play him 4th line lol
Marner is a choker in the playoffs like the others. You guys are always pumped for no reason. 57 years! No cup.
It won’t happen, leafs won’t make the playoffs
He will get around $12 million a year. Slightly more than Nylander.
