The entire kneeling was an idea from Colin Kaepernick's friend who was a Green Beret, he said that is what soldiers do when they lose a brother in the trenches.

Just get rid of the anthem at sporting events. It's not necessary at all. Maybe for the finals, or the Superbowl ect. at most.
I'm a veteran, United States MARINE CORPS vet and I'm so upset with men and women who NEVER even served stating; that kneeling is disrespectful. No, it's not. We fought for that right. ALl veterans fought for the right to peacefully protest in this country. If any say otherwise they are the exact reason we are kneeling and must continue to kneel. Stop placing a flag over our right of life.
