Canadiens prospect Nick Suzuki talks about the increased attention he’s been receiving since being traded to the Habs, discusses if he embraces being part of such a big hockey market, and explains what his mindset will be heading into camp this year.

  1. Skating is his biggest weakness. ….. Nick has to spend the summer in Power skating and the weight room …. Eat … skate … weights/gym …. vitamins … sleep …. repeat …….

  2. Suzuki and Poehling are the biggest wildcards for this year, but it’s important not to rush them in the lineup. Next year Caulfield, Suzuki, Poehling will all be in the lineup there’s no rush

  3. they resigned hudon…so Suzuki and all the rooks wont be making it…Suzuki doesn't speak French…its not going to go well for him.

  4. pressure is good, you gonna have a ton if you make the playoff and that's no matter the city. If you can thrive on it, it will make you better.

  5. The good thing is Laval is so close to Montreal that getting sent down doesn’t feel like you are out of sight. The coaches could see him a couple days every week. I think that’s how it’ll go down. When he’s ready or Montreal had injured players he’ll be there.
