Is 2025 the Year That the Wings, Sabres or Sens Make the Playoffs?

I made this video last summer and it didn’t work. Maybe it will work this year.

  1. i dont know when buffalo is going into the playoffs, they got major issues attracting players. the core players they have, need to step up, and play at 120%.

  2. The top 4 teams in the Atlantic last season will repeat as the top 4 teams again this season. So none of the three teams will make the playoffs. In the 25-26 season there will be a new top 4.
I hope Shannon is wrong in saying Detroit is "just hoping to make the playoffs". That is a very unacceptable goal for a team. The only successful year is when you win the Cup.

  3. Detroit has to be in finally… no more excuses .. with quality players they have… Detroit will add prestige to the playoffs, just like in old days. Having said that… GO AVS ❤️

  4. Buffalo bought out a guy who averaged 33 goals per season the last three years and still have not replaced him. Buffalo gave Washington a 2nd round pick for a player when they could have offersheeted the same player at the no compensation tier. As long as Kevyn Adams and his amateurs are there the Sabres will remain a bottom feeder.

  5. Bowen Byram was awful as a Sabre. Awful. He may be great this year, but he sucked from game #3 as a Sabre to the end of the year.

  6. Let's see:
    Florida – Playoffs
    Toronto – Playoffs
    Boston – Playoffs
    Tampa – Playoffs

Yeah, Shannon, there's no room at the inn for these three poverty franchises.

  7. Put sabres and senators in the playoffs for the last 2 years and red wings in last year… I'm not getting fooled thrice. Devils and canadiens will be 7th and 8th for the East

  8. I kinda root for Buffalo as a Canucks fan. Our Eastern expansion brothers of suffering 😂

  9. I have a hard time believing the wings will make the playoffs with that aging blue line and their average goaltending

  10. Wings need to sign Seider and trade Raymond for a legitimate right shot defenseman. Right now Petry is on the second pair and that's not good enough. Raymond is replaceable but need another right shot defenseman.

  11. Sabres will make it. I don’t know how, but the bottom six and Lindy Ruff will make it happen. Am I a delusional Sabres fan? Probably. But saying the contrary would just be business as usual. A playoff berth is gonna happen eventually.

  12. The best move for the Wings is to take a (small) step back and to work the kids into the lineup. Edvinsson is a lock, Berggren and Johanson can’t go back to the AHL without waivers, and Mazur/Kasper/Danielson deserve a hard look at NHL minutes. The future isn’t now, but it’s very soon and the team needs to be ready

I’d rather see these kids playing meaningful minutes chasing a wildcard in March than a veteran team having one locked up already

  13. It's kinda fun to realize that Detroit is kinda the opposite of Buffalo and Ottawa.
Wings were (so far) horribly bad at drafting, trading for and developing young players, but they compensated with signing veterans. Not in the most sane and reasonable way, sure, but still.
Sabres and Sens drafted/traded for pretty solid young cores, but they were (so far) very bad at attracting notable veterans.

  14. Everyone points to Buffalo’s offense as the thing to watch this season. I do think Lindy Ruff will help fix the offense, but what everyone is overlooking in the bottom 6 signings is the massive improvement in defense that will come from it. The Sabres already started to improve defensively and I think this is what will significantly improve the team.

  15. Wings d is so bad so idk and the goalie so shaky for us last few seasons I don’t know if we have what it takes.
