So many tries and so many fails when we all know what we all want. The 2017 alternate is the closest they’ve gotten, but it could use more “pop”.
I don’t care if we’re from OC, orange is a terrible color that other teams already found the right look with. It’s one of those colors that either looks REALLY GOOD or REALLY BAD, no in between.

Going all-orange was a great choice. Reminds me of how the Sharks embraced teal enthusiastically and unapologetically. Probably the best design choice the Ducks have made since the name change.

Wonder if they’ll try to have better color matching between the golds in future seasons. It’s not egregious, but there’s room for improvement.
