Bryan Rust is one of my favorite players, and is a big time playoff performer. He has scored some huge playoff goals for the Penguins over the past 2 playoff years. He had 6 goals in the 2016 playoffs and 7 in the 2017 playoffs, and all of his goals came at key times. Every time Bryan Rust has scored in a playoff game, the Penguins have won that game. Rust has scored in 5 elimination playoff games. He has 3 multi goal playoff games. So here is all 13 of Rust’s playoff goals. I included the replays of all of the goals as well.
– The Goal at 08:15 Round 1, Game 3 vs Blue Jackets was credited to Evgeni Malkin, but let’s be honest it should have been Rust’s goal. I included it
anyways because Rust basically scored that goal.
– The Goal at 02:20 Round 3, Game 6 @ Lightning was a game where the Penguins had a chance to be eliminated.

I love him so much !!! He definitely delivers all the time no matter what like Geno, Hags, Sid, Horrny Jake and Phil among others on every shift!!! His chemistry with the 6 top pens I name is the best. Great outstanding winger . He brings it every game. He deserves to be on top lines with Sid and Geno forever!!!!
I played with Rust on the 92 East Coast select team back in 07 he is a genuinely nice kid and talented. Glad to see him killing it.

7:18 this is 2019 and I just now realized that Kessel got high sticked after the rust goal in game 3 😂
He was the MVP of the Tampa series in 2016. Assisted on Crosby’s OT goal in game 2, sealed game 6 and almost single handedly won game 7. Then proceeded to score the opening goal of the Stanley Cup Final. What a beast! I’m glad he is signed.
The Malkin/Kessel/Rust line killed Columbus in first round of 2017 playoffs, he was the best winger that Malkin and Kessel ever had of all the different guys the tried as the 3rd wheel on that line.

I think Rust was one of the most important thing in Penguins Cup runs. He did so much more than those goals. I screamed my lungs to hell when he denied icing calls again and again. Im surprised my neighbours didnt call police. What a big heart this guy has! It was like 3-6AM in finland during the games lol.
