I remember driving loaded when I was younger. I'm so happy that I never hurt or killed anyone. With age comes wisdom. Don't drink and drive folks. It's just not worth it.
Unfortunately only takes a nhler to get this news .. happens everyday π€¦π»
Fucking drunk driver

As someone who is from South Jersey, i can easily say that all of South Jersey and the Philadelphia area are devastated and furious that this has happened.
So senseless and preventable; that's the most frustrating part π’
Been in mourning all day today. What a tragic story.
β€π For All,both Gone to soonπ’.
My prayers and condolences go to his family for their tragic loss!! Condolences to the parents of the brothers who got tragically killed in this horrible car crash!!! Gone way too soon!!! ππππ

Expressing my deepest condolences π π π to the entire Gaudreau family. This news was too sad to take it all in!! The whole hockey community and fan base hurts and we all mourn the sudden loss of 2 amazing souls! May there be π hockey forever for them in heaven πβ€πβ€ RIP
Just breaks my heart. Fly all over the country and Canada playing the game you love how many thousands of miles driven to hockey games and tournaments and it ends up being a drunk driver hitting him and his brother in their hometown. Its insane and completely avoidable i am so sick of drunk drivers. If you cause someoneβs death intoxicated behind the wheel you should go away for life. A mother in Ohio last month killed her 7 year old daughter drinking and driving. I feel so bad for that family right now. β€and prayers. Please donβt drink and drive. If you have Facebook post it. If your friends are drinking take their keys. We have to do our part.
Death by auto, what a weird sounding term.
I hope they get justice.
π’ So sad, he was such a talented hockey player. It was a pleasure to watch him play.
No words.
Oh man! Both of them passed away!!! RIP Gaudreau brothers! ππΎ
Rest in Peace Johnny and Mathew.
I cannot even begin to comprehend what your family is going through.
I hate drunk drivers
Ban alcohol

This is so very sad.. I shed a few tears upon hearing the news. A senseless tragedy and the loss this family has to suffer with is beyond my comprehension . Parents having to put to rest two of their children and a sister dealing with what was supposed to be the happiest day of her life turned into the worst day of her life. Wives losing husband and children losing their fathers. Utterly heartbreaking Rest in peace boys.
The anchor is drunk
Iβm an Oilers fan. Iβve always hated the Flames but never hated the individual players. Gaudreau was such an awesome player, but based on some of the videos Iβve been watching, seems like he was a better person. This is terrible.
Man I met him 1 hour before he died
As a Habs fan I hope I can speak in behalf of Habs Nation……we are devastated by this most tragic news!! Condolences to the Gaudreau Family on the devasted loss of these two fine young gentleman
I got to see him play in Calgary four times live in the saddledome. My favourite player.π’π’π’
Still can't believe it's real π’
So sad,terrible
The more I read the sadder and angrier I feel.
It's so sad. This tragedy should never have happened. Johnny and Matthew were so young and with young kids. Matthew was going to be a dad.
Deepest condolences to their families. π’
RIP, Johnny and Matthew.
Damn the drunk driver!
If you are going to drink, don't drive! Don't be an arsehole!
Roads are no place for bikes anymore. Too many drunks and texters.
Retire 13 in Calgary

Rest easy guys. Lost my cousin a few years ago in a drunk driving incident. The shock and numbing buzzing feeling in your body is indescribable. Like you physically canβt put words together. Wouldnβt wish that feeling on my worst enemy. Always proud to say they came from south Jersey. RIP
