  1. Played in high summer in Cyprus in around 41C (so only around 105F) – hydration was key, as was dressing appropriately (a hat particularly) and carrying a wet towel to put on your neck. It still wasn't pleasant!

  2. I'd need several water coolers filled with ice and water to play there during the day in July. I know this…I wouldn't have talked nearly as much as you.

Also, that pool had to have been bath temp…lol

  3. I don't normally comment (I know, I know, what's wrong with me?) but this one certainly deserved it. Big fan of your videos and production efforts. The cuts to you eating dinner and ice cream (multiple times!) were awesome. I simply can't imagine living in a place that hot, much less spending a few hours outside playing golf!

  4. Vegas golfer here. I bought a fan that sprays you with mist from a five gallon bucket like they have at construction sites. I fill it with ice water and bring wet towels. I can handle 110+ days but you have to stay out of direct sunlight as much as possible

  5. As a heat loving Canadian this has been on my bucket list for years. The hottest I've ever experienced is 39c (102f) and I was wearing a fairly thick jacket as I was cold … in fact I won't even think about wearing shorts unless it's above 30c (86f) as I know I will get cold and take forever to warm up. Watching this video only made me want to do Death Valley in July even more but unfortunately all my friends hate the heat so I'll never have anyone to do the trip with. And yes if you're wondering Canadian winters are fucking hell for me and I avoid being outside longer than a minute at all costs … unfortunately for me I still have to clear my driveway which can take over an hour when it snows 6+ inches overnight but because Canada is shit I'm basically forced to live in that crap life unless I don't know, maybe our country buys one of the Virgin Islands so that I could move and be happy year round

  6. I played in 107 degree temp at Baywood Greens in DE last month…thought I was going to pass out. the humidity and heat brought the temps that high. I'm new to golf, can't imagine how people in FL or AZ deal with the heat.

  7. Not sure if it’s inherently dangerous but a local course by me has had two deaths that I know of in the past few years. A golfer had too much to drink and flipped his cart going down a steep cart path and a maintenance worker just did the same thing a couple of weeks ago.

  8. Played Gold Canyon last July , just east of Phoenix Az. Stunning course, it was 116 degrees that day and there are sign’s everywhere to beware of scorpions and rattlesnakes. Loved every minute.

  9. Oregonian, here–we had a week on 103-106 degree days here, and have for a while. While it's never sustained, we're not unfamiliar to some heat.

We just suffer with rain for the other 7-8 months.

Here–Eugene–it rain's 10 more inches per year than Seattle, but it's a lot warmer.

  10. I played Palm Springs in July at 115F a few years ago, and gave up after 11 holes. Couldn't take it any more. Don't know how you got all 18 in at 130F! Loved the video, Matt.

  11. As a teen, I used to play street hockey every day in AZ during the summer in the 90's. I can't even imagine doing it now lol.

  12. Listen I have a course for you that has to be the worlds most absolute shit hole, no joke!! I’ve never played a place like this in my entire life, words can’t even describe this trash ass place. You just need to experience it for yourself and you will see why!! The place is called Paradise Hills in Rayland, OH. The layout, course condition, you name it, it’s like playing in a parking lot that was built on the side of a hill. Blind greens, blind FIRST shots, it’s atrocious!!

  13. HAHA😄 My first time here. The intermittent, "Ya know what I going to do!" Then the demonstration video haha Love the video. Keep up the great showmen ship.

  14. Played in Nevada 36 holes at Laughlin Ranch in 100+ all day temps. Looking forward to playing the Furnace. I am sure the lower elevation makes it hotter just like humidity does at other places.

  15. Now imagine being deployed in the Middle East where temps are130+ and having to wear military BDU’s, gear flack vest and helmet all day.

  16. I play in the Mojave desert and it can get to 115. Once it gets over 100 degrees you start getting loopy and play worse. He did well to keep it together, glad he drank so much water. I don't play when it gets over 100.

  17. i live in FHills AZ. i have a Sheik towel i dunk in ice water every other hole, drape it across my head, then put my flop hat back on. makes it bearable. tee off by 6 a.m. also. great content. i have been watching for years. thanks ! good luck on a MILLION. could you let us know what wedge your using onto the greens ? score savers. your good at it. my guess is 50 or 56.

  18. From southwest Missouri here. We don’t that hot here but 100-105 with 60-80 percent humidity will definitely take everything out of you
