Jailton Almeida and Alexander Romanov are set to fight and this fight will be dictated by who’s grappling comes out on top. Almeida’s last performance put a sour taste in a lot of fight fans mouths. That aura he had around himself is gone because the community realized that he is a tad bit overly reliant on his grappling and while I do believe that is true and in the long run that will need to be something he works on, in terms of this fight, I don’t think he’ll need to mix things up. Since Romanov is a grappler as well, he doesn’t have to worry about being caught on the feet and he can focus on what he’s best at and that is the grappling.

Was considering placing a bet against Almeda. Romanov 17-2 and has great wrestling but poor cardio. He is good for 1.5 rounds. Probably 30 lbs bigger.
So I decided to wait to see if he shows up like he gives a damn, and that answer is no. A fat blob. Pass.
