I could say, Open them, that’s what they’re meant for. The packaging is to hold in the shit you buy not be a display case.
I could also say, don’t! it will ruin it.
You do you, who cares what anyone else thinks

The only reason people dont open these things is resale value, if you aren’t going to sell (or dont think you will get much) then just do it
Darth_Vicious
Enjoy them.

I’m thinking they aren’t going to generate much interest in the future (unless one or both become notorious), play wiff em.

Don’t. You’ll regret it and end up losing the puck or sticks.
Toys are for kids (for the most part, what I mean by this is that he wont have time or get the same enjoyment from it as a kid or as when he was a kid.)
Don’t do it!!

These are never going to sell for much and they mean a lot to you. Keeping them in the packaging or opening it up and displaying them are both equally good ways to enjoy your stuff.
Catakillar
I think they look better in packaging

I have the Luongo orca logo and colours with paddle down glove up that’s opened. I was gifted the stick in rink variant blue: green that I still have in the case. Only other one in case is Sidney Crosby’s first one.

Worthless but so cool open them up !!!

The Linden was a Team Store exclusive when it first came out. The Bertuzzi you have is actually the variant of the regular figure and is more rare. The regular version of that Bert was in the white jersey, as is pictured on the back of the packaging.
All in all, if you open them just be prepared to dust them off every couple of months lol.
