  1. Sorry Button but Yager isn’t playing in the NHL this year. He is really close skill wise but is too small. He needs to put another 10 pounds on. Unfortunately, we (pens fan here) wanted him to do that last year and he didn’t. Additionally, the rule that junior players can’t play in the AHL is really going hurt yager. so he will go back to juniors and dominate again, when he needs to go play against adults in the ahl.

  2. Craig knows. He's correct again. Yager is a better option for a Jets team that needs capable Centers that can score and make players better around them. Brayden is a good SK kid who wins awards for sportsmanship, rookie, etc. McGrumpy had Chevy over the barrel and everyone thought the Jets would get nothing in return. I would take a right shot Center who can playmake and score with a clean style of play over… a big goofy guy. Yager is compared to guys like Point, Gallagher and Verhaeghe. Ummm… Who doesn't want any of those types of players?

  3. As a Pens fan I've watched alot of Yager videos on the TUBE and he is excellent in the highlights. Yager was my hope. FUTURE DANGER WARNING! When Sid and Geno retire who are going to be Rutger McGroarty's centers? That is when he will demand a trade from a rebuilding basement cellar team with no hope. That is when the Pens will need a new center like Yager who is perfectly timed and was on track to enter the organization when 87/71 retire. Let's watch and see. Hopefully RM rips it up for the Pens.
