It do be like that though. I keep telling myself to not to get hyped because overreaction to mediocre gains has been my bread and butter with this franchise for the past 20 years, but this one hits differently.

I think that it gives us so much potential.
Don’t start him off on the first or second line, he probably has to get back into the swing. (Plus I think you’d want to separate Cole and Patrik, both shooters, you don’t want them all together)
But you can have Laine, Dach, and Harvey-Pinard as a “Coming back with shit to prove” third line when they’re all healthy. Move them around as you see fit.

Dude is about to be the most skilled player we’ve had in a generation and we’ve got an actual supporting cast to elevate him. And a guy who might be even better coming in a year. I will not calm tf down!
