  1. Great move Army that's the kind of aggressiveness you need to compete in this NHL today it's the kind of Ahole kind of move I'd expect to see from the VGK hats off to you!

  2. Would love to see other GMs follow suit and dish out offer sheets. Not like it's illegal either. Another one of these foolish unwritten rules.

  3. probably the most savage thing i have seen a GM do in my 30 years of watching hockey 🤣

  4. We are now overloaded with players for this season. ( which is a good thing)
Dyvorsky needs to stay in juniors, and Bolduc needs to start on the 1st line in the AHL instead of getting 4th line minutes in the NHL.
Give our team this year and next. After that, we will be rocking. 😊

  5. Check the facts…. Holloway is not a top 6 forward this year, Broberg is a coin flip on second pairing D. Now the rest of the team will want a raise…..

  6. The Oilers wanted Broberg to play for $1 million, and they expected him at that price to be good enough to play on his off-wing and still manage to carry $9.25 million dollar Nurse on the second pairing like he did in the playoffs (taking Nurse from worst defenceman statistically in the history of hockey to just worst that year). If he can play on his natural left side with St. Louis there's no reason that he's not 2nd pair next season, even if he's worked into the system on the 3rd pair to start this upcoming one.
Holloway largely just needs to stay healthy, but all his injuries have been of the unlucky fluke play variety rather than recurring ones. There's no reason he's not a solid middle 6 guy for the Blues going forwards.

Congratulations on getting our two top prospects for pennys on the dollar. It was great work by Armstrong no doubt. Take care of them they will be missed.

    ps: great interview with Armstrong!

Hope you have a great season. Cheers 🥂

  8. This guy gives Joe Biden vibes. 4.6 for a guy that hasnt played a full NHL season. Dummmmmy

  9. I cant wait for the TDL when Doug gets all of our draft picks back by weaponizing the cap 😂😊

  10. Broberg 13 career points. Holloway 18 career points. St. Louis fans are the definition of delusional.

  11. i havent been this excited for a blues training camp since “that year” army signed maroon as an afterthought!

ive seen lots of comparisons of broberg to jbo, but havent seen a comp for holloway. is he a 2nd neighbors?

i hope both players reward army’s faith in them, they both looked ready to break out in the playoffs.

  12. The team may have overpaid on the short-term, but there's a big upside for both players. Broberg is probably a top 4 dman right now with #1 potential, and Holloway looked pretty good in the playoffs. I wouldn't be surprised if Holloway put in 10 – 20 goals this season. He's got speed, size, and hands. Not to mention, both guys have a draft pedigree. This could be the day Stlouis and the Oilers look back and say that's the day. For one team, the addition of two cornerstone players, the other for losing their future and the start of an unforeseen decline. Briliant move by Armstrong

  13. Army saying Bolduc is a top 6 is significant. Look for a trade either before camp or a few months into season. Think Saad is gone.

  14. Blues fans out here thinking they just landed the next young Erik Karlsson. Y'all are actually hilarious keep it up.
