  1. That decade if there was even an unheard of American in a 100 sprint he/she would win was a foregone conclusion. 😅😅

  2. I don’t think it will happen anymore with Shelley-Ann, I think that her time has passed. It is remarkable how well she has run in the last 3 years given her age, but that is why she is the best ever sprinter.

  3. She’s not having to push – her stride pattern means she’s hitting the ground with such speed and precision that her energy is not being used up pushing forward. She’s virtually floating – she’s just the right height while striking the ground so that their is minimal energy attrition going forward enabling her to conserve energy through 80 metres and runs through the gate at 100 metres without any slow down. Perfect technique. Was she assisted by Drugs, no one can answer that question. She took the secret of that performance to her grave

  4. they will have the same thing happen ,that just took place in woman boxing , it will happen in woman's 100 metre , its coming.

  5. Remember when an unknown sprinter from Jamaica named Husain Bolt came out of know where and ran the 9.5 100 meters. A woman will do it do just like Flo JO did when set the 100 and 200 records. She was never even close to those times before or after.

  6. Genuine question. Where there any doubts ever about her not being clean? Because competition was weaker back then compared to nowadays and she had such a gap with her generation. Still today, they come quite close but can't break both her records. It begs the question: Did she take performance enhancing drugs and managed not to get caught??

  7. It is widely accepted by athletic community that Flo-Jo took performance enhancing drugs, it's interesting that all the female track records from 100m to 800m were set before 1990 when doping was rife.

  8. I dont recognise this world record as genuine, there's no way. her running style was unbelievable – floating and even today the runners arent getting close.

  9. It's not a mystery, @Total Running Productions, though I get why you put that in your title to encourage more views. People who know about athletics, such as the editors of the ATFS Annual, have long concluded that the race was assisted by an illegal wind. It wasn't the first time on officiating lapse in the US has messed up the world record list, and it certainly wasn't the last.

  10. Pretty sure, she got a wind gust, cause you can see half way through the race the rate of strides to expected speed was skewed from the looks of it
