Mackinnon in his post cup game interview said he got room which numbers ended in 87, and he said as soon as he got that room number he knew he’d win. It’s great to see they’re such close friends and how they both look up to each other
Honestly Mack should have won the conn smythe no offense to Makar who was absolutley stellar. Nate dog with 13 goals despite constantly sacrificing points to help his mates produce; including the helping Landeskog off the ice get to the 5 foot region for a change. He finished with an amazing +13 I believe in addition to 24 pts w 13 goals. He also was the main shut down objective for each team. Mack is one of the guys that’s stuck thru the rough years to get here. He had a lot of non stat plays thay just caused and opened up plays.
Sid can retire anyday now nothing left for him to accomplish won almost every trophy for his position he's simply playing now for love of the game not sure at his age he will want to be drunk
