How injured is Kane? If he CAN T play– this is an easy decision; as good as this dude is, his career s been problematic…LTIR!
Holloway couldn’t buy a goal in the regular season. Both players were non factors before the playoffs. Is Broberg really a great defenceman or is the rest of the defence so bad that , average looks awesome? Move on and make some trades later on to bolster the defence .

Both are good players. Both have great potential. Both are selfish not team players. Money is more important than a cup. Boot them both. Let them get the money while we go for the cup. Win win!
The problem with not making a trade right away and signing them both is that you really put yourself out there to be taken advantage of because then teams know u have to absolutely make a trade

I think they should dump broberg. They’re already wasting too much cap on their D-line between Doc and Ceci, not much room for gambles like broberg. Leave the cap space and hope there’s another 2nd pairing guy on the market at the deadline.

It's a gamble on both, if the Oilers match on both, I hope both players BOOM as they have the talent… If one or both go to St. Louis then I hope they both play lower than expectation and move on. Not a fan of St. Louis for a few reasons. My horrible witch of an ex is from there and loves the Blues.

As a blues fan I love it. It’s a win win situation for us and a lose lose for Edmonton. Gonna have to pay more than expected to keep them and they’ll have to trade ceci or kulak or even both. It also can hurt the draisaitl negotiations if they try to keep both. So in the end blues win if they keep halloway and broberg because it’s young talent and they win if Edmonton matches due to them having to trade a defenseman along with a high draft pick.

Teams already know that Oilers are fucked if they match them both, and they want high picks already for a cece or kulak trade… So, good riddance to bad rubbish

Sign Barrie cheap, trade ceci or kulak for prospects and ya… move forward
