Olczyk: I’m expecting the Leafs to be one of the final four teams this year | OverDrive | 08/15/24

Bryan Hayes and Dave Feschuk are joined by NHL on TNT analyst Eddie Olczyk to discuss Auston Matthews becoming the captain of the Maple Leafs, his expectations for Toronto this year, and the impact Craig Berube will have on the team. Eddie also tells the guys which horses he likes at this weekend’s King’s Plate. The guys are joined by NFL on CBS Analyst Charles Davis to discuss the impact of Matt Milano’s injury on the Bills, the hierarchy of the AFC East, what’s going on with the Cowboys, and where Brandon Aiyuk will end up.

  1. I love Overdrive but when Dave Feschuk is filling in it’s an automatic switch off. No original takes, humour or real personality. There are so many other better candidates to fill in.

  2. I don't know why so many people struggle to think that maybe this was not at all a slight at John Tavares, and maybe he completely understood because it just makes sense. Y'all projecting your fragile egos.

  3. Look at Florida before they hired Paul Maurice. Florida got swept and embarrassed by tampa. They hired Maurice and they went finals, then a cup. Like it or not, keefe wasn’t a good coach. Berube will make a huge difference !!

  4. Leafs make the 3rd round this year. New Voice…New methods. Cup win in 2027…. exactly 60 years after the last one.

  5. You sigh experienced players that also put up numbers and Tavares will be re-signed.

Changing captaincy and putting on a show to do it is a soap opera that is garbage.

I don’t want to watch a soap opera, I want to watch the Leafs win.

  6. Leafs cry about changing the core but why move on from superstars? Ovi, backstrom kuznetzov, Carlson failed a bunch before winning. Be patient

  7. LOL sureeeeee final 4, First round exit as usual, The core is still the same soft players. Eddy , stop playing to the fan base…. Every one know the truth

  8. Toronto team is built wrong and very little coming up, they can keep shuffling the pieces, coach’s, free agents but not much success will happen as long as management is the same. How many years, same results 10
