Trade Rumors: Are the Flyers and Maple Leafs Discussing a Nick Robertson Trade?

There have been quite a few trade rumors swirling around with the Flyers and Maple Leafs. Both deals were revolving around Maple Leafs LW Nick Robertson. The two rumored deals included Morgan Frost in one of them and Scott Laughton in the other. Robertson, coming off a seaon where he posted 14 goals and 13 assists in 56 games. The upside to the trade is Nick Robinson is only 22 years old and has a 796K cap hit in the final year of his contract before becoming an RFA. Would you trade either Laughton or Frost for a package including Nick Robertson?

There is going to be a changing of the guard in Toronto. Yesterday, the Maple Leafs stripped the Captaincy off of John Tavares. There could be a number of reasons you could come up with for this surprising move. With this move happening, as expected the Leafs named Auston Matthews the new Captain of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
