People say johns not a leader, this guy gave up his captaincy to help make change. He wants to stick around and make this team work, letting go of captaincy is gonna take so much pressure off of him too. Think he’s gonna have a great year not being the designated leader.

Unbelievable example of Leadership
JT is a class act, more so than the Leaf brass. That's where change is needed, not the Captaincy. Auston will certainly be a good role model, but this will impact him in the coming year.

Mathews is going to be gritty this year and more of a pest sticking up for teammates Morgan said Mathews is changing his style of play this summer so watch out if he does will be like a other mathew but more talent more goals .this is the year he really breaks out .
Gained a massive respect for JT. This guy needs to be a leaf untill the end. I hope he has a massive year.
Hopefully Tavares is able to give up his other C and move to the wing too. No captain responsibilities and no centre responsibilities could see him have a major bounce back year
