   The Rowe situation reminds me of when Flynn Downes left Ipswich, and it didn't seem to hurt his career in the long run. Fans never get the full story and it will all come down to how well he does next.

   Opening day hat-tricks lead me to Grant Ward vs Barnsley in 16/17. He didn't even bother playing the first half (came on at half time).

    Hitting the woodwork 2 or 3 times, Norris in the pomp goal probably needs a vacation after that 1 we had soooooooooo many chances, must be more clinical going forward and much tighter defensively , Aaronson making his start to try and win the fans back, scored 1, then missed a great chance, if he'd scored 2, and the winner, he couldn't have asked for a better way to win the fans back, but his goal did gain a point from a losing position, the ref was pretty dire at times, some baffling decisions, Leeds need some reinforcements to strengthen the bench and give farke more rotational options for the season ahead, the dream is to always have 2 starting 11s of as close to equal quality as you can (obviously team 1 will always be better than team 2, but having a team 2 that could be relied on to get a win or draw is always welcomed). the lineup for me was probably our current best 11 that we have, i'll demonstrate it below:-

    Meslier Bogle Firpo Rodon Struijk Ampadu Gruev James Gnonto Rutter Joseph
    Cairns Byram Debayo Wober Chambers Crew Rothwell Aaronson Gelhardt Piroe Bamford

    And then Darlow as the other GK (I know Darlow is our 2nd choice but I prefer Cairns lol)

    So as you can see, the squad is unbalanced, you might get a very unbalanced 3-4-3 out of that 2nd lineup, but it would get slaughtered in most cases, due to players not being in their natural positions, so this is why we need some new players added before this window shuts.

    My hot take if it can be classed as 1 is, favourites on paper, maybe so. Favourites in terms of squad quality, perhaps. Gonna get top 2? I fear for how we will do against better quality squads if this is the best we can churn out.

    A bad performance, no, we were very good for about half an hour of the game, but you can't be average or poor for the other hour.

    Fortunately, still 45 games to go, and we are unbeaten after 1 game.

    Onwards, and most importantly, upwards, for my club, Leeds United.

    Excited for the Aaronson redemption tour. Yeah he missed that big chance, but he scored a more difficult one 2 minutes earlier. Getting to those spots on the field is what’s most important for projecting future goal output. He keeps that up and Leeds won’t miss Summerville like they thought they would.

    Would have loved Ben to mention that, that was the first time that Boro won on the opening day for a decade. With the last time being in 2014/15 under aitor karanke, we finished in the playoffs that season, the next we were promoted in the automatics

    I think Jonny Rowe has definitely jumped the gun, according to any source I’d consider somewhat reliable, Leeds only had verbal interest and no formal bid was made due to the difference in valuations.
    And Marseille are the only team to make an official bid but it’s reportedly well below Norwich’s asking price.
    I appreciate he, and presumably his agent are trying to force a move, but if the reports are right and the deal is no where near done, Rowe could find himself stuck in the under 23’s.
    I don’t believe Norwich will settle for half their asking price just because Rowe refuses to play

    Millwall are so close to beat Watford wasn’t the best start of a season they have great chances but Duncan watmore is on fire at the minute the performance is not good enough we had some many chances but Neil Harris tbh he needs some attacking football just get into the right shape we expect Millwall to bounce back we are well under pressure but we need to get better at their performance this season
