Short Track Racing Full Race: Bowman Gray Stadium Sportsman Race 1 (7/13/24)
7/13/24 saw the Sportsman division roll into #BowmanGrayStadium for twin 20’s! Our camera died before the second race sadly. But as always the Sportsman put on a show on the track and in the pits!
Race Summary: the race saw #19 Michael Adams and #55 Zack Ore lead the field to green. On Lap 1 in the first turn #15 T. Dawson would be sent around bringing out a very early caution. Lap 3 would then see a debris caution. Lap 7 would see #43 Brandon Brendle coming to a stop on the backstretch before hit could make it to pit entry bringing out the caution. Lap 9 would see #31 Chase Robertson spin #12 Justin Taylor around in turn 2 to bring out the mid race caution. This incident would see both teams brawl by the haulers and lead to BGS suspensions. In the end though the last half of the race would be caution free with #55 Zack Ore leading the way to the line to collect the win and grow his points lead at The Mad House.
