If you’re between 17-35 you can sign up for the stem cell transfer list here: https://www.blood.ca/en/stemcells It’s super easy; you just have to send a cheek swab in the mail. Most people receive donations from unrelated strangers (including Joey Kenward), and it’s especially important to register if you have a more uncommon ethnic background and/or are bi-racial as people with similar backgrounds have a hard time finding matches. And if you’re scared of the giant needle in the hip, most transfers are done via blood filtering these days so you just chill in a chair for a few hours with a (non-giant) needle. Plus, matches are made internationally, and I think that’s cool as fuck.

Way to go Joey.
Another stem cell success story, hopefully getting closer to wide spread approval.
