  1. Great show as always. For some reason Alan Walsh's voice tends to not agree with my car speakers and it makes a really sharp shrill. No other podcast does that. Weird.

  2. Glad Pacioretty is no longer with the Habs if he cannot take Montreal pressure. Las Vegas tried to trade him last year with no success.

  3. Allan and Adam have to figure out who talks first but other than that 🤣 GLOURIOUS show as always. I love every single guest and all the content. Life wouldn’t be the same now without this show! Keep it guys

  4. Merci a vous 3 Adam Allan et max tu vas être toujours dans mon cœur max un grand joueur c'est un privilège d avoir pu te voir jouer a Montréal TKS again . Sorry for the coment in french

  5. Thank you Max for all the great seasons you give us as a fan of the HABS living in Montréal, good luck captain for the rest of your career in VEGAS.

  6. No offense, but after high expectations for the Mike Rupp show, this one was pretty bland. Pacioretty gives off the typical boring hockey guy vibe you’d expect, and the same tired “low pressure environment is better” is so tired, an absolute epidemic in the NHL. It would be absolutely ridiculous for NBA and NFL all star players to want to go to the small markets to want some peace and quiet, because you know, you’re a public figure earning multi millions.

  7. I love Max and I was sorry to see him go. But when he blasts MTL that they traded him and he insinuates that MTL wasn’t loyal. He right to some extent, that was one of Bergevin’s faults, but. Believe it is more or less the same with all teams. Look at Marc-Andre Fleury, he probably also thought he would be at Pitt forever. Then he was traded to VGK and he became the face of the franchise there, where is he now? Hockey is a business and they are becoming more and more like other team sports where the better teams see that they have to cut ties with aging players. The Rangers did it with Hank Lundquist and it’s becoming more and more of the norm. Sorry to see him go, he was great while here, but I don’t think anyone can deny that MTL won that trade. The got Suzuki, who is POSSIBLY the future #1 center the Habs need and go Thomas Tartar as a throw in or a cap dump and was a top scorer for the team. It sucks but it is what it is. Good luck, Max!

  8. Alan and Adam rock these interviews are sooooo insightful and Its amazing to learn more about a sport you love.

  9. Max lost the vote to become Habs captain (to PK Subban) but him and Marc Bergevin didnt want that, so Marc appointed Max the captain. The team went downhill from there.

  10. I think if you named the episode "Max Pacioretty", and put the "What does it feel like to be captain of the Montreal Canadians?" in the thumbnail, it'd be a bit tidier. I think I see that formula on Youtube pretty often.

  11. I am a Habs fan, but I always hated how Max was treated by Montreal. He was a great captain and put up with more than anyone should ever have to. I was happy to see him traded, only because I was happy he was getting a fresh start somewhere where he could be happy and appreciated. Great episode!
