  1. Kulak was asked to play the right side because nurse-ceci was exposed. He did his best to steady Nurse. I think that's why we all appreciated him more in the playoffs.

  2. Kulak is the Anti-Ceci, payed perfectly for his role as 5/6th dman and isn't a liability on the ice

  3. Kulakโ€™s skating ability alone makes him invaluable to the starting 6. Heโ€™s quick on pucks and routinely legs guys out. I hope the Oilers keep Kulak based off what has been asked of him; to cover for guys when theyโ€™re having a bad night, playing in elevated roles, his off side, etc. The guy is steady Eddy, a โ€œNugeโ€ of the bottom pairing D. He does his job well and consistently, in light of the carousel of partners and playing with their tendencies/weaknesses, he gets the job done.
