  1. THE BEST BRITAIN TENNIS PLAYER IN HISTORY! FOR ME! BETTER THAN FRED PERRY!!
    GO MURRAY!!
GRETTINGS FROM SAN JUAN, ARGENTINA!! πŸ’šπŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸŽΎ

  2. Is there really a point in replaying the point at 5:22? Murray acted the best he could to prevent Blake's passing shot, I don't see how he could have gotten distracted by the "out" call. He'd lost the point either way. Are the rules really like that?

And please don't come at me like: "Murray could have given the point to Blake, so stop complaining."
Just imagine having the opportunity to win your first major title in your career in your home country (well kind of at least) and having the chance to serve for set one from 40:0…

    EDIT: grass title I mean

  3. Its remarkable the number of british records that have stood since the 1930's or earlier than Andy Murray has broken.

  4. Blake had all the attributes to be a multiple grand slam winner. Big shots, great forehand , quick, good return and could take the ball on the rise. He just seemed not to have a plan B other than to hit harder. 6min20 sums up Blake: gets a bad call, ends up winning the next point with a good backhand return and net charge. Next point, hits a better backhand return and stays back and hits a forehand in the net, when the same play would have resulted in an easy volley. Should have brought in a Brad Gilbert type coach. Andy, on the other hand, good coaches and more than the sum of his parts. Should have stuck with Lendl, would have been on par with djokovic for longer.

  5. Sad that Murray was brought down by injuries as hard as he was. Must really be one of the hardest things you can go through as a player to go from the very top to nothing. I hope he can return to form.

  6. Murray was in great form here. Not long after this he reached number 2 in the world for the first time.

  7. In the middle of these highlights J. Blake starts hobbling after the point. To me, me clearly seems not to be moving well in this match.

  8. James was a very entertaining player to watch, I like everything about his technique/style, speed..think he just went for to much sometimes and lost points because of that. He deserved more sucess than he had, but fell to prime time Federer many times..
