Barkov 100% deserves the Smythe. He faced off directly against Kuch, Pasta, and Panarin. In the first three series the star players of Tampa, Boston, and the Rangers combined for a whopping 1 goal when Barkov was on the ice. In three series. He utterly shut them down and that’s monumental. But normies look at how many points are scored like that’s the only thing relevant to a hockey player. Oh yeah and Barkov actually lifted the cup

People will forget about this in less than a week. Any accomplishment by Oilers or Panthers is the exact same scenario as the plot in "the day after tomorrow"
