    I didn't watch Kaliev in JRs where he was great. All I saw was a kid miss many chances to prove himself. Laughable to blame his crappy play on Blake, hahaha. And PLD sucked because he sucked. Haters. Its not like he had no ice time. He constantly missed the net. And I saw very little else from his game. I wish I saw what others see. I never thought he had any skills except a hard shot. Never sets up others. Never makes his own chances. Not a great skater and not particularly a good hockey IQ. So what's his value? I rooted for him for a while, listening to all the hype. He might be one of those guys that did well in the slow game and can't adjust to the Bigs. But, just poof. Nothing. Good luck to him. Why are we still talking about him? Next.

    We gotta keep him or get a player ! If Blake trades for a pick he should be fired yesterday! Trading for a pick %100 could possibly and probably waste kopitar and doughty last ultra competitive year ? I mean hopefully not ! However the clock is ticking on this group , I truly believe if change the system some we have the talent and toughness now , just need the system and FITNESS

    Kaliev may be a one trick pony and worried about his game on defense,however a middle pick would be a waste.Maybe Blake trades him for a similar player who also needs change scenery such as Tomasino,Robertson,even a Kakko type deal .

    Anyone recall Matt Moulson. Kings had him and they desperately needed offense. Well they gave up on the guy and he landed in NY and played for islanders. He had 3 straight 30 goal seasons while kings were still looking for offense. It was strange because I actually saw the potential in the kid and was not happy with kings letting him go.

    It never felt like they got mad at him for not playing d or "anything he ovbiously wasn't willing to do." Unless that thing is run up the wing and score on his very first touch. Thinking about it, it might be the most logical thing that would lead to just this much tension. He actually wants to be more rounded (?) and just play hockey and he's like ok here's my quick shift. I'm supposed to go up and never pass and do some predictable shot, here goes! or he tried to pass once, he obviously did something to piss them off.

    Although Arthur is about age 23, he just hasn’t been sufficiently effective and a contributor that made a difference. It is a fact that many young players are done and maxed out by his age. They for whatever reason just start thinking of other life interests and pursuits. The fun and passion for the NHL grind is running thin. That seems to be him. He lost that spirit and drive to excel, but that could be that his talent level is just peaked anyway.

    I say find or use a higher quality producer and hard passionate worker in the ice.
