  1. Was kinda wanting them to draft Demidov and then Solberg in the 1st round. I thought that’s what they were going to do when they traded up to 18!

  2. Good, objective video. I wanted Demidov but they drafted Levshunov. If Levshunov ultimately becomes a 27 minute a game horse with decent defensive awareness and great puck moving ability, it will be a great pick. But Vanacker is not 6'4" dude.

  3. The Hawks vetted Levshunov and had plenty of time to scout him. From all accounts I've read he's a tireless worker and takes coaching well. The reason he's going to the Ice hogs this season is the Hawks want be in control of his development.
    I think he has the physical tools and skills to be a #1 RD but it will take a couple of years. I too wanted Demidov but that may have been shirt sighted on my part.
