The HIGHEST SCORING Habs Prospect Right Now – Samuel Houde (Montreal Canadiens Top Prospects 2019)

The Montreal Canadiens have a few really notable prospects, but the one with the most points right now is Samuel Houde, taken in the fifth round of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft playing for the Chicoutimi Saguenéens. He’s got 23 points in 15 games right now, and is doing pretty good things with Rafaël Harvey-Pinard on the team.

  1. Im a habs fan, I love Sam Houde but come on don't hype him up this much it's his 4th LHJMQ season, even if he gets 100 points it doesn't mean anything Abbandonato had 111 points but that doesn't make him an elite prospects why? Cause he was 20 years old. Houde is on his way to his 20s. I hope he does well but I highly doubt he will crack the Habs in the future, espicially with the other prospects coming in. As always, you're overhyping any player who puts up some points.

  2. I've heard of him before. He's definitely a talented player, but if you ask me, Harvey-Pinard is the one we should be looking at. That's looking to be a steal, given that he was our last pick in the draft. He was actually the only guy I predicted we would draft, this past year. Very happy with that pick up.

  3. Really optimistic here, but… Habs draft Hendrix Lapierre in the 1st round, then maybe get Theo Rochette in the 2nd. Keep that Chicoutimi Connection 🙂
