Peristyle Podcast – Catching up with Trojan defensive lineman Nate Clifton

In this edition of the Peristyle Podcast hosts Ryan Abraham and Connor Morrissette (aka “Triple Double”) are back in studio with Vanderbilt transfer defensive lineman Nate Clifton joining the show. The 6-foot-4, 289 pound senior comes to Los Angeles from Nashville with a ton of experience at a position of critical need for the Trojans. In his five seasons at Vanderbilt he played in 43 games with 37 starts and amassed 93 tackles including 12.5 for loss and 7.5 sacks with three pass breakups and in interception.
Ryan and Connor chat with Clifton about his decision to transfer to USC, how spring football went for him, his progress during the summer workouts, working with defensive line coach Eric Henderson, his first impressions of the new-look Trojan defense and lots more.
The interview with Clifton was conducted in conjunction with House of Victory, an alumni-backed nonprofit collective dedicated to providing a competitive edge in the NIL space for University of Southern California student-athletes.
