Yes in on Laine that would be huge
Honestly, they could give away 2 D, a couple of picks, nothing in the first round, and a prospect. They could do a Barron and Harris/Struble, Farrell, Heineman, attractive pieces. They have multiple picks in the first, second and 3rd round, I would do players, and a pick in the second and third to get him. That would be worth it. Maybe they need a Gallagher, who knows, this is going to be interesting if they’re in on Laine
Another Josh Anderson;pass
Pezzetta is a dud
I'll say one thing & hopefully you get it from there, Garry Leeman?
Why ?
Oui pour Laine!
How old is Laine. If hes north of 30, no thanks for me.
The Habs have nothing to loose with LaIne. We give him the second line with Dach and Newhook or Roy and he will produce. After improving for 2 years with at least 30+ goals every years and at the end of his contract, we can trade him and receive a good pick for him or resign him.
It will make the Canadiens better already this year plus with Demidov next year he is exactly what we need, a pure goal scorer with 2 play makers in Dach and Demidov.
Slow down. No laine. Whats he gonna be like in three years which is our timeline😢to seriously compete for the cup. Patience boys. Stick with the plan!!
No, he is a rehab project.
Oh no, RPH is out. How will we ever be able to replace his 2 goals from last year.
100% add laine his term is perfect for montreal ,either in 2 years he's back to being the goal scorer he's shown he can be before and we extend him , or if he's not back we move on and his spot is taken by a prospect , demidov .
I wouldn't call 5'9" and poor skating RHP an energy player.
for a 4th round and armia id take him and his salary !! otherwise nope !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Mtl should sign Laine … awesome show fellas !!
Pinard got most of his goals playing with Suzuki, he needs to play with talented players to at least have a chance to succeed.
Laine is a go for me, the culture with the habs could restore his confidence. It's a decent risk to make given the term and possible retention.
I would take the risk for Laine 2 years
Could josh Anderson was part of à trade it would work for me
Patrick L was a 2nd overall pick and has proved he's a goal scorer. I say, why not? It's only 2 years. If it works, we could be in the playoffs this year. Everyone likes a good comeback story, but no one wants to give guys a chance. What kind of pedigree do you need to be given a chance?
Montreal will trade you our late 1st 2025 for CLB 2027 1st and Laine.
Because RHP is hurt, the Habs will carry an extra D man. Watch
I'm not a Laine fan. That being said, For the right price for someone who truly is recovered I am not opposed.
I would take him in a heart beat
