Holiday games are usually more expensive in general

Definitely some major sticker shock. My fiance and I were hoping to go to four games but decided to only do two (and one of them was preseason).

It’s because it’s just before Christmas.

Secondary market right before puck drop is the way to go for a game like San Jose!

I can’t seem to find the canucks vs flames preseason game in Abby, wonder why they left it out of the presell

And not even 3 years ago I’d get club seats on stub hub for 80

Celbrini playing , they did it with Bedard last year, but he got injured before the game

That’s the one downside of the team being good.

With great success comes great ticket prices.

When I moved here the Canucks weren’t very good and it was super easy to get tickets. Happy the boys have found their stride but I’ll be watching em all from the couch this year
chente08
crazy, was going to get tickets for a couple of games but these are first round of playoff prices, at least for any decent game

We did so well and way above expectations last season that I was already mentally prepared to expect an increase in price this season because Lord Aqua gotta make that coin 🤑 and yet looking at these prices, it still unbelievablely expensive and that’s just PRE-SALE 😭.
I remember getting $45-$75 tickets from TM (not secondary/resell sites!) during the weird half Boudreau/half Tochett era. 🥲 Most expensive tix for me that season was $160 single tix lower bowl second row behind the Avalanche goalie.

Holy hell this is insane! Upper seats for Edmonton +300 a ticket
FreonJunkie96
Seeing the sticker shock for some of these games makes me glad I got Quarter seasons.
Said sticker shock is also going to pay for half my tickets by only selling 2 games

Wait till November and it becomes 50-60. Happened to me last year
Fuzzy-Coconut7839
I was trying to get tix for 4 of us, lots of 3s left, and TM won’t let you pick 2 of them because you are leaving 1 seat « stranded ». Guess I will sit by myself or not go then! Ridiculous!

Lots more home games seem to be Sunday – Wednesday this season compared to last, which is unfortunate since I work mon-wed and live on the Island

I got my home opener tickets yesterday, but the jump in price today for similar tickets is fucking crazy. Year over year price increases are expected, especially with the performance of the team. Regardless, the sticker shock even for upper bowl seats is wild.

I’ll be enjoying sportnet+ with my case of beer. I’m so happy they’re successful but I can’t fathom spending that much on a single game in the 300’s.

I’m still shocked a seat I was looking at is $20 cheaper when NYR is here vs when Dallas is here. Also have my fingers crossed they do the 3+ game packs they had last year.
NorthEastofEden
For prices like that book a trip to San Francisco/San Jose for a weekend and get tickets to the Canucks-Sharks game on November 2. The tickets will likely be much cheaper for better seats and you can enjoy a weekend away to boot.

The price of winning.

Was hoping to go to a game with some of my girlfriends for my birthday again this year but with upper bowl at $250, probably won’t be happening 🥴
