Connor McDavid slashing on Carson Soucy – Tough Call Recommendation
Connor McDavid was a little overzealous in his reaction to being shoved by Carson Soucy at the end of game 3. This slash led to a series of crosschecks that are addressed in a separate video.
The mcdavid slash was nothing. It’s not even the heel of the stick. And he purposely hit soucy in one of the safest and most protected spots. 2min slash at best.
You're a joke. The league set the precedent. Max fine for Zadorov and 1 game for Soucy. Why don't you make another video expaining why under these precedents, McD deserves a max fine and Hyman a 1 game suspension. Start calling a spade a spade.
Worth mentioning here that Soucy missed a good chunk of the 2nd period after blocking a shot in the same location McDavid hits here. With that being said, this isn't suspension worthy.
Tough Call – $5k fine. NHL – Tongue Bath to the nether regions. I wouldn't give him a fine either, but McDavid is escalating all over the ice AND that is really good news for the Canucks. His game is scoring goals. Agitating needs to be his teammates.
this is a 2 min penalty in game and not worth anything supplementary. The whining and whataboutism of my fellow canucks fan shows we, like all fan bases, suffer from the hard of thinking
Slash to the most padding on a hockey player?!? You gotta be kidding me your video is going on that angle?!?! No No No … A tyke could've taken that slash and been ok …
A bit of exaggeration on the slash. “ big two handed swipe” is not very accurate. No question it would be a penalty, but slap is likely a better term to this response to Soucy’s two shots at Oilers after the game had ended. I understand that Canucks fans would consider this as an offence calling for capital punishment, but there are better candidates than this play.

I've never seen fans so salty over such a weak slash.
Zadorov rode Leon into the ground on his stick, on Leon's back. No call.
Why would McDavid weak slash be a call in a regular season?
I hope this is a parody channel😂
Canuck fan here. No suspension here for McDavid, even if it was regular season.
I think a written warning is the right call (essentially what the fine is)

canucks is the only team that get suspensions
Well, I’m a Canucks fan and that needs a suspension.

It's very rare for a slash to be a suspension – unless it's to the head or something. McDavid could've gotten seriously hurt here.
Brutal cross checking on Mcdavid
Chicken shit Canucks it takes 2 of them
Ricky is telling them to target 29 and 97 . Injure them. He is a goon .
