I’m so excited!
This may sound weird, but I kinda feel like I’ve been dormant in my fandom with the Ducks. I watched the Ducks lose their first Stanley Cup final to the Devils. I grew up with the Mighty Ducks movies, hence where my love of hockey (and my few years playing) originated. I was devastated when they rebranded. It crushed me, and I never really watched any hockey after that. I never chose another team, however. I’ve always rooted for them, and was so excited to see them play a few years back.
With this rebrand I feel so excited and invigorated. I feel proud and can’t wait to sport that jersey. I feel like, in a weird way, like a piece of my childhood came back.
I hope the players feel excited. These jerseys look incredible and have an amazing history to them. I hope they feel proud suiting up to play for my Ducks!
I hope there’s social media start getting together a talk more about the team. Then the bare minimum information that you get about the team.
The team does need to turn a corner this season. They’ve drafted exceptionally but now it’s time for some of these picks to take a step.
