Benders: Boston Bruins Development Camp
[Music] hey it’s it’s Maddie from the Bruins Benders podcast and it’s mornings with mty good morning and today our topic is Bruins development Camp as it winds down at Warrior Ice Arena 35 invites uh quite a hefty number there of invites uh at the warrior Ice Arena for the development Camp uh Adam Adam McQuade former Bruins defenseman now a development guy for them and he’s been really working with a lot of players and he mentioned that Fabian lysel actually stood out as someone who has really improved especially defensively Puck possession looked really good in development he’s a first round pick in 2021 the Bruins could really use him to take the second line right uh right-wing spot to begin the season they need a big Camp from him also Riley Duran had a really good development Camp as well he’s at Providence College he was at Providence College now with Providence Bruins as he signed his entry level contract Duran is rising up the charts as a prospect in his game especially going to the net is really conducive to a you know to a pretty solid NHL career and he tracks that way so hopefully Duran is close to you know at least contributing some with the big Club down the road there’s also Brett Harrison a Brett Harrison sighting he hasn’t been really much uh talked about in the last year or two but Harrison showed some signs that maybe he has come along as well he’s a little bit of an older Prospect now but hopefully Brett Harrison continues to progress uh and of course Dean lerno the number the first round pick 25th overall of the Bruins big kid and he really showed some flashes as to why he was a first round draft pick he is a project and will be um more than likely playing in college for Boston College for at least the next couple of years but he does have a high ceiling high potential and we’ll see what Dean lero can do but we saw a lot of prospects we see that the Bruins are adding to the prospect pool which has been down the last few years and they have to replenish Matt ptra Mason lowai John beer who have gone on to the big Club so it’s a it’s a it’s a chance now for the Bruins to replenish some of that pool hey everybody have a great day and as always go Bruins hey it’s Manny from the Bruins Benders podcast if you love our content and want to see more from us please subscribe to the inside the rink YouTube channel and visit us at inside the rink.com Bruins Benders thanks again for all your support and as always go Bruins
