Good show guys
That was a great episode! Lots of good breakdowns and interesting points. Every team has good players and no night is a night off in this league. I predict the Wild will finish fourth in the division standings when the regular season is done. Our top 6 is pretty notable and our defense is very good in my opinion. Solve the special teams issues and you are onto something. The goalies had a down year but it's unlikely to continue in my opinion as long as the team supports them a bit more too.
Leddy and Saad are still playing? Wow
I like Wild at #6 or worse too, spot on Isha. All the geezers will lose a bigger step than they did last year (most notably: Freddy, Moose, and Zucc), and the kids aren't experienced enough to carry the load. Add it together = a LOT of ppl gonna tap into their "shoulda, woulda, coulda" arsenal again. It'll be fun to watch Owner Leipold implode from it too, this dude deserves nothing less than to watch this unfold in slow-mo…the hockey Gods are like elephants, they don't forget sheit LOL. I agree with Denny here too, I'd imagine we'll be looking at another head coach after this happens…and here's the kicker…Billy will be safe thru all of it.
The routine is already baked in the cake. Reilly will not stay up no matter what because Billy promised Carcus a chance to look tradeable after Carcus doing us in the keester last season. Zuc will be talked into a trade that the Wild will lose their ass on to throw up surrender flag and play Marat, Ohgren and unfortunately Freddy because they cannot get around the contract and Freddy has not the skills set anyone really needs. Sammy Walker will get the runaround next like they did to Beckman. Moose will play 28 games before undisclosed injuries make him in for 2 out for 6… Defense, with Slow Begone Bogosian and Pylon John still playing will still be BRUTAL! So 6th is generous in my opinion!
Yeah, I think the Wild end up somewhere from 6th to 8th in the Central. The Wild have been absolutely OBLITERATED by the top teams in the Central the past few seasons, and many teams in the Central have improved this off-season. Luckily for the Wild, they get to play bottom feeders too. We all know the MN Wild philosophy = prospects, no matter what their skillset, are on the 4th line in a limited roll until further notice. I've also heard rumblings of Kirill Hartsy Zucc are getting reunited. I'm not sure why we'd go back to that, but keep in mind we're talking the Wild here. As always, the season starts and stops with Kirill, and between the pipes. Secondary scoring is still the #1 issue and if you remove Kirill you got nuthin' but a potential #1 overall pick.
