    Lidstrom, Coffee, Bourque, Leech, Housley, Pronger, MacInnes, Niedermeyer, Murphy, Chelios, etc all played in the same era

    No. This is a great era for scoring defenseman, but overall I think the talent pool is weaker than other eras.

    I wouldn’t have put Bouchard over Werenski, Rielly, Doughty, Morrissey, or Carlson.
