I decided to make a "dark mode" jersey for all NHL teams.
I'm mainly doing this for my benefit as a designer to learn more about how teams have constructed their jerseys, logos, and colors. This was a lot of fun and I hope you all enjoy!

looks cool but can be confused for a myriad of universities w cats as a logo.
I understand the “dark mode” concept – but make it our dark navy blue instead of black and this’ll make me faint

The concept is a great idea, looking through OP’s examples from other teams and *all* of them came out insanely cool (Avs, multiple Sharks examples, Hawks, Wings, Jets, Canucks all came out amazing – he even managed to make that horrific Vegas jersey look nice with the changed concept).
With that said, not liking ours at all, nothing exciting going on here, and the logo seems duller than usual without the shield.
This would likely be way cooler if it used the Leaping Panther and was used as an alternate, could use some different colors or shade too, to better pop some of it.
Kind of disappointing actually, when you look through how great other team’s jerseys turned out.
I like it but needs more red tbh.
Fun fact the Florida panther is not a real panther so they don’t get the excess melanin like some jaguars and leopards do. A black panther alternate would be awesome tho regardless
