You're completely ignoring the fact that he would be the third line center because Lowry is getting the second line minutes.
Not gonna lie, I like you, especially after you made that video talking about Paul Maurice potentially sweeping after I cursed it suggesting he would be the only one to do it twice with two teams. I just can't agree with a lot of what you say. I think if your going to take the risk of putting the youth in, put them in and if it fails, we have an ace in our pocket in McG for a trade to fill in. If they succeed, woohoo! We've done the sheltering and have ended up with 4th liners because of the systems. Unless we make the 4th a straight youth run and gun, put them in the roles we think they will play and if they aren't enough, they'll know where to work on if sent down.
I like that I disagree with you though, that's where the best ideas come from. If everybody agreed, we wouldn't be waiting to merge in a zipper lane here in town 🤣
Unfortunately he will not make the team. We need to give him 2-3 more years. He’s not ready.
