Bennett punch to Marchand – the smoking gun angle finally released
well folks you were asking for another angle of the Bennett Maran hit they finally put out the other angle and I made an assessment on the first night from what I saw I issued my suspension recommendation video and after seeing all the evidence from the other side I fully stand by it there is absolutely no doubt that this is an intentional Punch To The Head in my opinion and here’s the evidence that you were looking for
Sam Bennett did punch Brad Marchand in the head. Tough Call assessed this as a sucker punch to the head the night it happened, assessed a suspension recommendation the next morning, and with this new final angle of evidence, I stand by everything I’ve put out.

I said the same thing in another video comment section (someone shouted me down basically stating I don’t know what I’m talking about because I didn’t play in the NHL) and I stated that Bennett said he could not ‘premeditate’ throwing a punch in that situation. It’s simple closing fighting distance to throw a strike. For elite athletes this is not difficult.
Marchand has not always been the cleanest player…that’s no secret. But that doesn’t negate this being an obvious penalty.

Clear and concise it is a punch ,how can a game of literally hundreds of cameras not pick that up while the nhl says they don’t have a camera angle on it 😒 Refs are paid!

Actually, it was worse than a punch to the head- Bennett SPECIFICALLY targeted BM's jaw which is the one part of the head not protected by the helmet. Bennett should be suspended now and be in the stands, along with BM, for the rest of the series and playoffs if they get by the B's. And a sidenote-imagine how the Vegas odds on this series changed when a team captain AND leading scorer is removed from the picture. I'm sure there's a few "wiseguys" that would like to have a little talk with Bennett!!

Lets hope if Marchand comes back in the series and if Boston is ever down 3 goals or more, he places a well placed cross-check to Bennetts mouth. Surely Parros cannot to a thing about it, if he lets PROVEN VISUAL EVIDENCE of a right hand to the jaw of a team captain go unpunished, he doesnt have much cred left at all.

Not only was it an intentional punch to the head, but he also still had his stick in his hand which contacted Marchand's face. I'm not a fan of Marchand at all. But damn.. NHL needs to suspend or fine for this.
