I didn’t have a problem with this pick.the trade with Edmonton was my problem.to me you to get more than just there first next year being its basically the same pick.you are losing a year to develop that player.the pick is protected also if it’s a top 12 ,which means possibly losing two years of a players development.danny should have made them throw in another draft and if the pick has to wait two years another draft pick.i think he got fleeced on that trade

I like this pick a lot. Being a Canadian living in Ontario (London in fact) and being dialed into CHL hockey … everyone has to realize a guy like Catton had his big WHL season in season 3 and Jett is in season 2. He’s the 5th youngest player in the draft and is only a couple weeks away from being in next year’s draft. Catton in his year 2 had a line of 55pts in 63gms and Jett in year 2 had a line of 74pts in 68gms. This is a good pick.
