The Pittsburgh Penguins lost Brandon Tanev to the Seattle Kraken in the NHL Expansion Draft and when they did so they lost an integral part of the 2020-21 Penguins. Since then, it’s been Brock McGinn who’s picked up the slack on the third line in place of Tanev.

I fell in love with the Pens as a kid growing up with Mario, Jagr and Co.; but I remember falling in love with hockey itself when I got to see it live. Not the Pens, but the local Johnstown Chiefs. Hockey is best experienced in person (with Mike Lange in your ear. I like the new guy, and still tune in every game, but Mike was special.)
