While it's easy to see money as the reason (coming from an Oz Kraken fan), being at a different team will present a new challenge to attempt winning a Stanley with another team. Having the experience of him and Stephenson from the 2 most recent Stanley winners should be immensely valuable for Kraken

lol, of course money is one of the main factors, especially with a young family, but doesn’t mean these other things don’t factor in. He still has to live his life there and make sure it’s a decent fit.
Kraken fans you got yourself a great skater who can distribute the puck very well and has a huge clapper. However he defensive play dipped last year and was a liability during the playoffs with silly mistakes. He’ll be great on your power play and will drive the offensive play.
Seattle has such a great team honestly
