  1. loosing three in a row cost Bobrovsky the Conn Smythe..Connor deserved it once they came back to make it 3-3

  2. he shouldnt have won, especially with only 8 goals. thats by far the fewest goals compared to the other top 10 all time performers, even evgeni malkin had better stats in 09.

  3. It’s interesting the fans booed Connor like crazy! Give it a rest you guys won the cup!! What more do you want??

  4. McDavid is no Wayne Gretzky and never will be. Gretzky has more class and he would have accepted the Con Smythe Trophy after losing a game seven. Connor needs to grow up and stop being a baby….

  5. Wake up people, oilers have 5 cups and panthers none, who do you think Buttman is going to give to…………..oh and here Conor to let canadians know that I don't hate Canada……..shove it up your yahoo Gary.

  6. McDavid is a team player and was where he was suppose to be -with his teammates. He didn’t take away from the Panther’s celebration either. Also classless of the Panthers fans to boo the Conn Smythe trophy winner.

  7. 100% well deserved. yeah bobrovsky saved the panthers in the end, but also had 3 straight games of getting handfuls of goals dropped on him, mcdavid literally had a record breaking playoff run and was 100% the whole time

  8. 9 seasons in the NHL and The Golden Child McDavid has raised the Stanley Cup over his head zero times. Contrast that to Wayne Gretzky, since Oiler fans just love to make the comparisons, within his first 9 seasons, he won 4 Stanley Cup’s consecutively. The next Wayne Gretzky my ass! McCupless more like. Take last seasons Boston Bruins, the best record in NHL history, and what did that amount to? Records are impressive, but if they don’t net you that big win in the Stanley Cup Finals, doesn’t mean much! That’s why greats like Mario and Gretzky have not only lead their teams to Stanley Cup victory, but consecutively.

  9. Booing at McDavid during this is just so tacky. But so is booing at the Canadian Anthem, and you do that too. Just gross.

  10. Seeing and hearing Gary Betman speak makes my skin crawl. He's like the unholy offspring of Jerry Springer who f@#$%&d Harold the Jewelry Buyer up the a$$ and out came a baby.

  11. Conor has no class. He should have come out onto the ice and accepted the trophy for the Oiler fans in attendance. Instead he acted like a baby.

  12. I really hope Gary Bettman does something about the Conn Smythe trophy and whom it’s awarded to. It’s been awarded to a few members of the losing team. I think that doesn’t make sense at all. I really hope in the near future it gets rewarded to a member of the winning team instead

  13. Edm. Oiler F Connor McDavid, not only became just VIth player from Championship Series-losing team to earn Smythe Trophy capturing M.V.P. honors in Stanley Cup Playoffs, he also became llnd non-Goalie to capture award. It also marked lst time since 2002-2003 season when Mighty Duck G J.S. Giguere captured award despite his team's VII-game title series loss to Devils 😈 that Smythe Trophy had been rewarded to player on Championship Series-losing team

  14. I'm not surprised the Oilers gain another consolation prize after another year of failing. This team is the personification of participation awards.

  15. Thanks for nothing Oilers. Dont know why I expected anything different. Terrible series. Almost got swept. Luck you even made the playoffs to begin with
