I've not seen anyone say this but Steven Stamkos' 4-year deal in NSH has an NMC on each year according to @PuckPedia. Same for Marchessault & Skjei.

We are going all in, I guess. Hope the cap has a couple jumps in the next few years.
If true, that’s gonna hurt down the line. But that’s the price you pay for top end talent in free agency.

This franchise is in uncharted territory in terms of actually spending the money necessary to win.
Josi has about 2-3 more years of Norris level play left in him- Barry’s going to make the most of it.
Juuse has some form of trade protection too but I haven’t been able to find it anywhere lol
This means it’s all in for the next four years. After that everyone will be retiring or near it even fil will be 34. After that either trotz does a traditional rebuild or he becomes Vegas and tries staying good always.
